Here is the script for making web-clip ‘speed-dial’ icons for your iPhone.

Here’s the explanation.  Hit Safari on your iPhone, type tel://1800BIGPIMP and your iPhone will ask if you want to call that number.  If you hit cancel, you are returned to whichever page you were previously viewing.  Neat, but no opportunity to bookmark.

The fix, we have a script load the image via the URL variable ‘i’, and then redirect to the URL variable ‘n’.  This way you can hit cancel, and bookmark.

So your url would look like:
